History
Our founder, Sedrettin Cobanoglu, began his working life in the 1950s in Erzurum, where he was involved in the production of halva, Turkish delight, sugar and jam.
In 1970, Sedi Cobanoglu Food was established on Gulahmet Street in Erzurum. Within a short period, thanks to our growing and evolving product portfolio, we founded the Kuruhal company. With the establishment of Kuruhal, we became one of the leading retail companies in the central Erzurum area.
In the 1990s, our company expanded its product portfolio to include various types of nuts and dried fruits. Alongside production, we continued to engage in the import and export of various nut products both domestically and internationally.
In 2002, our company, influenced by growth, relocated its headquarters to Istanbul Aytop Food site. In the subsequent years, we incorporated various product procurement and sales depots in different regions of Kyrgyzstan and Erzurum.
